Twitter: I received 5 likes and my first re-tweet! This was highly exciting to me and very encouraging that I was actually connecting with others.

Instagram: I received some likes and, more importantly, some engaging comments from others on ideas for how this would and would not work (see comments below). One commenter tagged another teaching organisation – this connected me with a group I was unaware of.

Facebook group: Whilst I received a favourable amount of likes, it was the comments that really made this post a highly critical incident. The debate between several commenters, which culminated in the group manager commenting on what a wonderful discussion it had sparked and thanking me for starting it, reinforced how (through my PLN) I was not only connecting with others, but also connecting others together with my posts (see comments below).
